mandy greenfield williamstown theatre festival

MANDY GREENFIELD is Artistic Director of the Tony Award-winning Williamstown Theatre Festival.  In response to the pandemic, Greenfield forged a collaboration with Audible, the world's largest producer of spoken-word entertainment, where global audiences can access the entire seven-show 2020 Festival Season including Robert O'Hara's production of Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire with Audra McDonald and Carla Guigino as well as the world premiere of Shakina Nayfack's Chonburi International Hotel and Butterfly Club, among others.  This summer, Greenfield commissioned and developed three world premiere productions for bespoke outdoor venues in Williamstown, marking the Festival's return to live performance.  In the season cut short by the pandemic, seven Festival shows opened (or were scheduled to open) on stages on and off Broadway, including two Tony Award nominees for Best Play: Adam Rapp's The Sound Inside with Mary-Louise Parker and Bess Wohl's Grand Horizons.  Prior to joining WTF, Mandy served as Artistic Producer of Manhattan Theatre Club where she produced more than seventy-five world and American premiere plays and musicals.  The work she has commissioned, developed and produced has garnered every major theatrical honor including Martyna Majok's The Cost of Living, which premiered at the Festival, and won the Pulitzer Prize in 2018.  She is the recipient of a 2017 Lilly Award and is a graduate of Yale University.

AARON BOGAD is a director and educator, developing programming in the educational and theatrical realms, both as an independent director as well as in his work as the Director of Arts at The Salesianum School in Wilmington Delaware. He received his BFA from the Playwrights Horizons Theater School at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and a Masters in Theatre Studies and Production from The Ashland Theater Center/Southern Oregon University. He has spent the last 15 years as an arts educator, presenting over 60 productions, first as the Director of Theater at the Hun School of Princeton before moving to his current position. His favorite credits are being a husband to a genius and a father to two lunatics.

ROGER BEAN created the off-Broadway hit The Marvelous Wonderettes, along with the sequels Wonderettes: Caps & GownsWinter Wonderettes, Wonderettes: Glee Club Edition, and Wonderettes: Dream On.  Other shows: The Andrews BrothersRoute 66, Summer of Love, Why Do Fools Fall in Love?, Honky Tonk Laundry, and Sh-Boom! Life Could Be A Dream (LA Drama Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Musical). Mr. Bean is the president of Stage Rights, an independent theatrical publisher, administering stock & amateur performance rights for an eclectic catalog of plays & musicals from Off-Broadway and beyond. Mr. Bean is a member of the Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights, SDC, & the Dramatists Guild.

Tina Cocumelli TBD Theatricals

TINA COCUMELLI is the host of our event and a native of Los Angeles, California, who spent over four decades as a K-12 theatre educator and curriculum designer. She has produced and directed over 300 plays and musicals with students of all ages... including the young Hunter Arnold, whom she gave his first roles onstage.

Now in Act II of her career, Tina works in production and development for TBD Theatricals. She is a graduate of the UCLA School of Theatre, Film, and Television, and also holds a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from Point Loma University.
