Richard Falcon-1

RICHARD FALCON is the founder and artistic director of Teatro Nagual, a Sacramento community-based theater company dedicated to messaging the core values of Cesar Chavez. Before founding Teatro Nagual, Richard studied and performed at the American Conservatory Theater, the Piccoli Theatre and Playhouse West among others. He teaches theater arts in the Sacramento Unified School district as an artist-in-residence selected in a competitive process by the City of Sacramento, Office of Art and Culture. Richard recently served as an advisor to small, multicultural organizations to build their grant writing capacity as a consultant to the Sacramento Office of Art and Culture.

JARROD KOPP (Executive Director of Theatre Tulsa) is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, where he studied journalism and theatre. His spent more than 25 years in various communications files including journalism, PR, advertising and corporate communications. During those years, Jarrod spent his spare evenings working with various local theatre companies as an actor and director while also consulting with them pro bono on branding and marketing. Jarrod was part of the original team that rescued Theatre Tulsa from near-bankruptcy in 2012, and applied his business experience and passion for theatre into a massive reinvigoration of the company that is still growing rapidly to this day.

NAJEE A. BROWN oversees the Sol series at Seacoast Repertory Theatre, focusing on presenting Black, Indigenous, and People Of Color (BIPOC) narratives. After starting his media company, Mindlezz Thoughtz, in 2011 he provided resources to aspiring artists. Most recently, he wrote & produced his play The Bus Stop, which sold out six times in NYC, & featured at the Seacoast Rep last summer. He co-wrote & directed the musical Glimmerings Of Hope, which premiered in NYC & toured Michigan in 2019. He also directed & choreographed the award-winning musical Henry Box Brown A Musical Journey, in Edinburgh in 2019.  Stokley and Martin & Nevaeh’s Brother, are his newest plays to premiere at Seacoast Repertory Theatre.

TINA COCUMELLI  is the host of our event and a native of Los Angeles, California, who spent over four decades as a K-12 theatre educator and curriculum designer. She has produced and directed over 300 plays and musicals with students of all ages, including the young Hunter Arnold, whom she gave his first roles onstage. 

Now in Act II of her career, Tina works in production and development for TBD Theatricals. She is a graduate of the UCLA School of Theatre, Film, and Television, and also holds a Master's degree in Educational Psychology from Point Loma University.
