HUNTER ARNOLD is a Tony and Olivier Award-winning Producer. Select Broadway & West End credits include: Hadestown (Tony Award); The Inheritance (Olivier Award and Tony nomination); Once on This Island (Tony Award); Dear Evan Hansen (Tony Award); and many others.
In addition to his producing projects, Arnold is the founder of ARTech Holdings, LLC, an incubator and holding company focused on generating technologies to support the live arts community. Amongst ARTech’s offerings is the premier theatrical ticketing and web presence software for schools and small theatre companies, www.onthestage.com.
TYLER NEWHOUSE is a filmmaker, bringing commercial and narrative projects to life at TBD Pictures. After receiving his MFA in Fiction Writing from Columbia University, he transitioned to a life behind the camera, directing national television and web commercials for brands and networks like CareerBuilder.com and Nickelodeon, and for a long list of Broadway theatrical productions, including the Tony Award-winning Hadestown.
During these COVID times, Tyler directed the music video for Celisse Henderson’s protest song “Freedom,” helping to raise funds for The Movement For Black Lives, and worked to bring A Christmas Carol Live, Michael Arden’s film capture of his one-man theatrical reimagining of the classic tale, streaming straight to viewers across the country (a project which also helped raise funds for local theatres struggling through the pandemic).
Currently, he is in development on what will be his feature film directorial debut, and as productions continue to find safe ways to press forward, he can’t wait to get back on set.
AARON BOGAD is a director and educator, developing programming in the educational and theatrical realms, both as an independent director as well as in his work as the Director of Arts at The Salesianum School in Wilmington Delaware. He received his BFA from the Playwrights Horizons Theater School at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and a Masters in Theatre Studies and Production from The Ashland Theater Center/Southern Oregon University. Aaron was lucky enough to spend a few years with the legendary Elizabeth Swados as an Assistant and Associate Director.
He worked as a designer and director throughout the early 2000s downtown scene, at La MaMa Etc, The Flea, Westbeth Theatre Center, Provincetown Playhouse, Bleecker Street Theatre/45 Below, as well as the New York Stage and Film Festival and with performers as varied as Kiki and Herb, Dave Gorman, and The Loser’s Lounge. He created new works for in house production at Scholastic Publishing, with Hospital Audiences Inc., as well as Arts Connection, and others.
As the Director in Residence at The Center for Performing Arts at DeBaun Auditorium in Hoboken, NJ he got back into the educational realm, creating Shakespeare: The Box Set Tour, an Equity touring company that brought Shakespeare to schools throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He has spent the last 15 years as an arts educator, presenting over 60 productions, first as the Director of Theater at the Hun School of Princeton before moving to his current position. His favorite credits are being a husband to a genius and a father to two lunatics.
Following the 2016 election, he and his wife founded JustArt Theatricals, LLC, a production company dedicated to presenting work that seeks balance in an unsteady world. The COVID pandemic has sent the company into hibernation, but they’re excited to come back bigger and better than ever! Also, Go Dodgers.
TINA COCUMELLI is the host of our event and a native of Los Angeles, California, who spent over four decades as a K-12 theatre educator and curriculum designer. She has produced and directed over 300 plays and musicals with students of all ages... including the young Hunter Arnold, whom she gave his first roles onstage.
Now in Act II of her career, Tina works in production and development for TBD Theatricals. She is a graduate of the UCLA School of Theatre, Film, and Television, and also holds a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from Point Loma University.
